Very tasty burgers, with chips, onion rings included. Black tea was good (often hit or miss) and coffee was perfect too (milk in a little jug = A1 service). We'd definitely recommend this place, a lucky find for us, as we explored the area.
This is a lovely little secret in Braintree. I wanted to go somewhere different for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and looked up the highest rated restaurants in my local area. So I decided to give Mem Has a go, well the staff were on point welcoming me on walking through the door and immediately sat me down at a table of my choosing. The menu provided was extensive with a huge range of options for breakfast to lunches and dinners. The highlight for me was the atmosphere the decoration is rustic and cosy which is a lovely feel, especially on winter days. The food was presented and served very well and cooked perfectly. The tea and coffee were spot on too, something I struggle to find when out. Downsides. Phone signal and data are unusable but wifi is provided, there is a password which I don’t know. Then again sometimes it’s nice to disconnect. Recommended.
Who doesn't love this place!! Me and my son love it. Food is always so fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. I did have a panini once, which was OK but not a patch on their other food! You must pop into this little gem, you won't be disappointed.
The food here is absolutely delicious. The plates come out really well presented and, although it is fried food, there is no grease or oil on the plate. Got to try Sujuk for the first too. The service from the staff is fantastic, they are always happy and easy to talk to and are very patient. Even when waiting for myself to decide on what to eat, because there was so many delicious options to choose from. If you’re a fan of pistachios and coffee, their pistachio latte is amazing. They were also very accommodating to my needs of decaffeinated coffee and oat milk. Highly recommend. Has become our new place to eat. Although I apologise I didn’t take a photo of the food menu.
